The team, which moved from Oakland to Sacramento last offseason, plans to play two interleague series in the Las Vegas area in June at their Triple-A affiliate’s stadium in Summerlin. They’ll host the Brewers at Las Vegas Ballpark for three games from June 8-10 and the Rockies will visit from June 12-14.

The biggest news for the fans in Sacramento is that any potential home postseason games for the 2026 season will now be played at Sutter Health Park. There will also be six fireworks shows at the ballpark next year, but the promotional schedule will also be fully released closer to the season.

Simmons was a the No. 8 overall pick of the Cardinals in 2020. Arizona eventually changed systems, leaving Simmons without a role, and the team declined his fifth-year option. Shortly after, the Cardinals traded Simmons to the Giants in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick.
