The Broncos made an offseason acquisition at tight end, signing Evan Engram to a two-year deal. After a slow start due to a couple of injuries, he has begun to pick up steam, but his impact has been much more minimal than probably even the Broncos expected when signing him.
Backing up Engram are Nate Adkins and Adam Trautman, two tight ends who aren't heavily involved in the offense. Adkins has six catches for 48 yards and a touchdown, while Trautman has seven catches for 58 yards and a touchdown.
ESPN cooked up a hypothetical trade that sent Taysom Hill and a 7th-round pick to the Broncos in exchange for a 6th-round pick.
If the Broncos seek to add a player ahead of the Nov. 4 deadline, an interior offensive lineman could make the most sense.
