The Cowboys will play out the string and hope for a miracle in the final three weeks of the NFL season, starting with a matchup with the Chargers on Sunday. The Eagles, who must lose to keep the Cowboys’ playoff hopes alive, take on the Commanders.

All of that can happen as soon as Dec. 20 if the Eagles beat the Washington Commanders (4-10) at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. If the Eagles lose, they can clinch the division the next day with a Cowboys loss to the Los Angeles Chargers (10-4) in Arlington, Texas.
