The song, “Rock and Roll Part 2,” plays for about two minutes as star Joaquin Phoenix, who plays the Joker, dances down a flight of stairs. And that’s not all.
Joker the movie was not the first popular movie to use the song, either, as it was featured in Meet the Fockers, which came out in 2004 after Gadd was arrested.
Of note, Lady Gaga also wrote original songs inspired by Joker: Folie à Deux for a separate album, Harlequin, but only one of these tracks, "Folie à Deux," is part of the official soundtrack.
