The Gators have sold out Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for the 16th consecutive game, this time for UF Homecoming. Florida is 3-0 in homecoming games under Napier, defeating Missouri (2022), Vanderbilt (2023) and Kentucky (2024).

The Gators (2-3, 1-1) snapped a three-game losing streak by hanging on for a wild 29-21 win that came down to the final seconds. Florida racked up 457 yards against what had been a stingy Texas defense that entered the game ranked among the best in the nation.
