Children and adults were hurt Tuesday when a fire broke out at a Bronx building, where parents said a day care is located.
A 3-year-old girl was among four victims killed in a tragic fire at a Queens building — where people never should have been living on the upper floors, investigators said.
Twelve civilians were injured in a second-alarm fire on the 3400 block of Kingsbridge Avenue in the Bronx. The blaze, which started on the third floor, prompted 46 units and 141 fire and EMS personnel to respond.
Bronx firefighters were called to an apartment building on Hughes Avenue between East 178 and 179 streets for a late-night fire.
