Kevin Schnall is expected to interview as a Tennessee baseball coaching candidate on Oct. 24. Schnall led Coastal Carolina to the CWS finals in 2025.

The former Tennessee assistant coach played for Cleveland and Detroit in MLB, and was selected in the fourth round of the 1994 MLB draft by the Athletics. He was traded to the Yankees, along with Ruben Sierra, for Danny Tartabull. Beverlin also played professional baseball in Japan.

Tennessee baseball will hold its annual Orange & White Fall World Series game on Nov. 9 at Covenant Health Park. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST and gates will open at 11:30 a.m. EST. Covenant Health Park opened in April and is home to the Knoxville Smokies, a Double-A affiliate of the Cubs.
