There’s a devastating egg update for fans of the Big Bear bald eagles nest camera. Jackie and Shadow’s famous nest was invaded by a predator bird Friday afternoon while the bald eagles were away.
After abandoning their nest for over three hours, Jackie and Shadow’s eagle eggs were damaged by invading birds near Big Bear Lake.
Jackie and Shadow gained widespread attention in 2023 when a live stream of their nest showed two eggs, but the eggs failed to hatch.
