The Yankees tweaked their bullpen on Thursday, sending a rookie down to Triple-A to make space for a new face. Right-hander Rico Garcia was added to the active roster, the team announced. The Yankees picked Garcia up off waivers from the Mets earlier this week.

Garcia worked 2.2 innings in bulk relief, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two, during Friday's 7-3 loss to Atlanta.
