The WWE SmackDown event on May 2 took place at Des Moines, Iowa's Wells Fargo Arena. It was quite a performance, as they were ready for Backlash and had a lot to attend to. Randy Orton was the first to challenge John Cena and defeat the 17-time world champion via a rematch.

"The Legend Killer" Orton is back in full force ahead of Backlash. Orton, who's gotten the better of Cena in recent weeks, added layers of context to their undisputed WWE championship match at Backlash.
