Substitute Tom Watson has scored a stoppage-time winner and Sunderland has rallied to beat Sheffield United 2-1 in the Championship playoff final and earn promotion to the Premier League.

Sheffield United took the lead through Tyrese Campbell’s first-half dink, but Eliezer Mayenda rifled Sunderland level midway through the second period before 19-year-old academy graduate Tom Watson stroked home a 95th-minute winner to take his side to the top flight in his final game for the club.
