Where was ‘The Waterfront’ filmed? Behind the scenes on Netflix’s new crime drama
Kevin Williamson, The Waterfront’s creator and showrunner who also wrote Scream, The Faculty, Dawson’s Creek, and The Vampire Diaries, has made a habit out of shooting in his home state. Williamson was born in New Bern, North Carolina, and attended East Carolina University in nearby Greenville.
