The Department of Justice charged a Texas man on Wednesday with purchasing and transporting explosives with the intent to attack police officers in Los Angeles during the anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement riots last week.

A Texas man has been charged with buying fireworks that he allegedly planned to use against law enforcement officers and government officials during recent immigration protests in California

Grzegorz Vandenberg allegedly asked truck stop employees for the largest fireworks he had, because he wanted to shoot them at officers during the Los Angeles protests.
