Popeyes threw shade at McDonald’s after the latter announced that its beloved Snack Wrap would return to menus this summer, just a day after Popeyes dropped its own Chicken Wrap

Many popular chicken chains thought they had gotten ahead of the McDonald's Snack Wrap rerelease by launching their own, but none compare to the original's fame. The McDonald's Snack Wrap was introduced nationwide in 2006 and quickly became a fan favorite.

After a nine-year hiatus, McDonald's is finally bringing back the classic Snack Wrap. It will be available in July.
