Paul Feig’s thriller sequel Another Simple Favor is set for release on May 1st and there’s one Oscar-nominated actor who didn’t make the film’s final cut. In an Instagram post on Thursday, Sharon Stone said she was cast but then “unexpectedly” removed from a role in the sequel.

You knew it would only be a matter of time before somebody responded and today, People shared remarks from a source close to the production, who claimed Sharon was actually "never cast" in the movie. According to the insider, director Paul Feig had talked to Sharon about potentially appearing in the film, "but the financials didn't work out."
