Samsung has officially launched its One UI 8 beta program, and you can sign up to be among the first to test it out -- if you have a compatible device.
The One UI 8 beta also features some major improvements to the Secure folder, including a much-needed Kill Switch. The folder will also behave more like Android’s Private Space features, meaning you can store apps in the folder without a copy being kept on the rest of your phone.
The Samsung Reminder app in One UI 8 has a completely redesigned homepage and some much-needed functionality improvements.

Samsung has had a secure folder since 2017, well ahead of Apple and Android, but this year will see the company add a bunch of new features — some of which offer some parity with Android's Private Space feature. The most important is the new "kill switch" that lets you hide the secure folder from sight.
