The Steelers return to primetime action on Sunday night when they host the Green Bay Packers at Acrisure Stadium.
Aaron Rodgers has built a Hall of Fame NFL career during his two decades in professional football, and this weekend he has the chance to face one of his former teams in a matchup that could headline Week 8 with both teams firmly expected to be in the playoff mix.
The Packers had just erased a 28-14 fourth-quarter deficit and defeated the Cowboys 31-28 in overtime at Lambeau Field. It was Week 10 of the 2022 NFL season and then-Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers approached a second-year player from the other sideline after the game.
The 41-year-old has thrown for 1,270 yards, 14 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 68.6 percent of his passes and posting a 105 passer rating. He also has the Steelers at 4-2 and in first place in the AFC North.
The Green Bay Packers are preparing to face former quarterback Aaron Rodgers, now with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers has reportedly assimilated well in Pittsburgh, forming a good relationship with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
