FOXBOROUGH — Mike Vrabel has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind. That’s been true since the Patriots coach was still a player. Vrabel was an NFLPA player rep, and ahead of the 2011 NFL lockout, the linebacker ripped into Robert Kraft.
During Tuesday's press conference, Vrabel fielded a handful questions from the media, as is the norm. The moment the presser took an edgier turn was when the Boston Globe's Ben Volin asked what Vrabel thought of the players returning to their first training camp practice after the NFL offseason, with an emphasis on their conditioning level.
After back-to-back four-win seasons, the New England Patriots are looking to return to relevancy and respectability in 2025.
At 10:15 a.m. ET, the team of new head coach Mike Vrabel will hold its first practice of this year’s training camp — kickstarting a five-week journey to build a roster and get the team in proper shape for the upcoming 2025 NFL season.
