The 2025 NFL Draft is still a few months away, but the anticipation over what the Giants will do with their No. 3 overall pick in April continues to build. And some news out of Cleveland might affect what happens when the Giants are on the clock. Monday, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett requested a trade.

The Browns are in such an awkward spot organizationally. Yet as the holders of the No. 2 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, Cleveland can make a maneuver that can benefit the club in the short term and provide the team extra ammo potentially needed to pick a quarterback in next year's draft.

But in Mel Kiper Jr.’s first mock of the year for ESPN, he had Sanders’ teammate Travis Hunter going to Cleveland and Sanders going to the New York Giants at No. 3.
