Rookie J.C. Escarra hit a pinch-hit walk-off sacrifice fly in the 10th inning Wednesday night as the New York Yankees earned a 4-3 victory over the visiting San Diego Padres after being no-hit for 6 1/3 innings by Dylan Cease.

Cody Bellinger’s towering solo home run with one out in the seventh was the Yankees’ first hit against Cease, a game-tying solo shot into the second deck in right. Cease struck out nine in the loss for San Diego, walking two batters with the one hit allowed. He was removed from the game one batter after Bellinger’s blast with an apparent injury.
