Disneyland Abu Dhabi is set to open as one of Disney's most technologically advanced theme park resorts in the world.

The Middle East is looking to cement itself as the new global theme-park hot spot. Disney is the latest and biggest entertainment company to plant a flag in the region, as it said its seventh global theme park will be located in Abu Dhabi.

For the first time in 15 years, the Walt Disney Company has announced the development of a new theme park - a resort destination in Abu Dhabi that marks the company’s entry into the Middle East.
