The annual celebration to mark workers’ rights took on new meaning at a rally outside the White House focused on the contributions of immigrant laborers.

The International Workers' Day rally drew hundreds to the Minnesota State Capitol, rallying for immigrant and workers' rights.

"Injustice is real, it is happening to people we know; our families, our coworkers, our neighbors, and the only answer is that enough is enough. Basta ya," member of MIRAC, Berto Villanueva said.
