Actor Lynn Hamilton, who was best known for her characters in sitcom “Sanford and Son” and historical drama “The Waltons,” has died. She was 95.

Hamilton died on Thursday of natural causes at her home in Chicago, her former manager and publicist, Rev. Calvin Carson, told The Hollywood Reporter. She was 95. Carson posted a long statement on his Facebook page following Hamilton’s death, noting that her “remarkable legacy continues to uplift and inspire.”
