About 250K 'No Kings' protesters march through downtown Chicago to denounce Trump, organizers say
Chicago was one of dozens of cities nationwide that held "No Kings" protests Saturday. A quarter of a million people marched through downtown, organizers said.

The protests also drew the support of Ben Stiller (an avid basketball fan) who shared a photo of a child holding a sign that reads, “No Kings except for Jalen Brunson” — a reference to the star Knicks player. He wrote, “Love this #NoKingsOct18 .”
People gathered in Chicago and the suburbs Saturday for a "No Kings" protest amid ongoing federal immigration enforcement operations in the area.
Jimmy Kimmel, Robert De Niro, Glenn Close and Mark Ruffalo have spoken out in support of the No Kings protest.
Indivisible East Bay, which helped organize the event, says more than 10,000 people marched peacefully from Wilma Chan Park, through Downtown Oakland, before gathering at the Lake Merritt amphitheater.
Some three dozen protests were scheduled to be held across the Garden State. Demonstrations were planned in Atlantic City, Newark, Ocean City, Princeton, Rutherford, Teaneck and Wayne, as well as in Cape May Court House, Galloway Township, Glassboro, Pine Hill and Vineland.
Protesters took to the streets from Chula Vista to Oceanside in the second "No Kings Day" movement in San Diego this year, marching against the Trump administration.
