Hurston Waldrep pitched six scoreless innings in a combined two-hitter and Nacho Alvarez Jr. and Michael Harris II each drove in a run, giving the Atlanta Braves a 2-0 victory over the Cleveland Guard

Early in the game, it didn’t quite look like Waldrep was going to cruise, as his infield defense made a lot of nice plays behind him. He had a 1/1 K/BB ratio through the first 12 batters he faced, until finally tipping it in a positive direction in the fourth when he issued his second walk but struck out two in a row to end the inning.

Jose Ramirez came around to score three times and the Guardians bullpen was solid in a win over the Marlins Aug. 14.
