The Flagstaff Police Department arrested two individuals on Friday, July 11, after an apparent road rage incident escalated to the discharge of a firearm downtown. There were no injuries. Flagstaff residents sound off on plague deathWe first brought you the story of a deadly plague diagnosis in Flagstaff earlier this week. A patient arrived at the emergency room and lost their life to the pneumonic plague. Meanwhile, health officials are still searching for the source.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, Flagstaff police officers responded to reports of a person struck by a train in the area of Route 66 and Switzer Canyon Boulevard. First responders located a woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have since identified her as a 22-year-old woman from Chandler.
Flagstaff Girls Softball Little League’s two district champions played in the Arizona State Little League Tournament over the weekend.
