Windy conditions continue to challenge hundreds of firefighters battling the Greer Fire in eastern Arizona.The wildfire first ignited on Tuesday, May 13, then quickly spread, leading to evacuations and destroying buildings during the week in Apache County.

Firefighters took advantage of good weather to activate significant air support on May 15 but were bracing for winds to pick up over the weekend.
