Freshman Avery Howell is leaving Southern California and entering the transfer portal, along with two other Trojans guards.

USC Trojans women's basketball standout guard Avery Howell has announced she will enter the NCAA transfer portal. Howell saw an increase in playing time throughout the season as a freshman, but announced her decision to enter the portal on social media.

Howell was expected to play a major role for next season's Trojan team, which will likely open the campaign without Juju Watkins in November.
