The Lakers were busy making moves Thursday, doing all they could to move up in the second round of the NBA draft.Moving up to No. 36 in the draft with their second trade of the day, the Lakers acquired Adou Thiero out of Arkansas.

Thiero had been projected in most mock drafts as a potential late first-round draft pick but Wednesday came and went without NBA Commissioner Adam Silver called Thiero's name.

They executed a pair of trades to move up and select Adou Thiero with the No. 36 pick. Thiero is a player the Lakers viewed as a first-round talent, and picking him earned the franchise good grades from draft experts.
