The Lakers were busy making moves Thursday, doing all they could to move up in the second round of the NBA draft.Moving up to No. 36 in the draft with their second trade of the day, the Lakers acquired Adou Thiero out of Arkansas.

The Los Angeles Lakers made a couple of moves on Thursday to move up in the 2025 NBA Draft. They first traded the No. 55 pick and cash to the Chicago Bulls for the No. 45 pick, and they then sent that No. 45 pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the No. 36 selection.
