Phasmophobia, the "truly terrifying" hit horror video game, is getting a film adaptation from the makers of Five Nights at Freddy's and The Conjuring.

Deadline reports horror game Phasmophobia is being adapted into a feature film by Blumhouse, the studio behind horror smash hits like Get Out, Split, and The Black Phone. Atomic Monster, the production company founded by The Conjuring and Malignant ’s James Wan, is also producing.

Blumhouse Productions has set its sights on another horror video game to adapt to film, developing a feature based on “ Phasmophobia ,” the first-person paranormal puzzle title that became a viral sensation during the COVID pandemic.
