A 53-year-old man was arrested for attempted murder, reckless driving and being unfit to operate a vehicle after ramming into a crowd in Liverpool.

The collision is being treated as an isolated incident and police are not looking for anyone else in relation to it.

Police say the incident is not being investigated as an act of terrorism and they believe the suspect acted alone.
