CBS has made the surprising decision to end Late Night With Stephen Colbert. Stephen Colbert shared the news at a live taping on Thursday to sustained boos from the audience. “Yeah, I share your feelings,” he said. “It's not just the end our our show, but it's the end of The Late Show on CBS. I'm not being replaced. This is all just going away.”

Colbert took over from David Letterman in 2015 but he leaves amid political controversy with parent company Paramount.
